This is a little hidden gem. My husband and I brought our 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter to Helen for the weekend. I have been to Helen many times and have eaten pretty much everywhere except Brickhouse.
Yesterday we went there for lunch and WOW. Out of all the restaurants in town (pretty much ALL of them use frozen EVERYTHING, nothing is ever fresh anywhere.) Brickhouse actually used fresh ingredients. The Calzone was the best I have ever had. I had the mushroom and spinach calzone. What made it the perfect calzone was that it was crunchy on the outside bd perfectly fluffy inside the calzone. Plus the restaurant is perfect for children. Many places in Helen aren't very kid friendly. (Be wary, just because a place has a kids menu, doesn't mean it is truly kid friendly.) Stroller friendly as well, Moms.
Anytime we come back to Helen, THIS will be where I will want to eat. Absolutely delicious. -

The pepperoni pizza was great! The house salad was good too!You order at the counter, pay and then wait for your food. (Which I love, because I prefer not to have a ton of questions while I eat.)
Very clean, DOG FRIENDLY(dogs sit outside and they bring water).
Only negative & a big pet peeve of my own- was they won't give you water. You have to pay for bottles of Dasani water. -

We really enjoyed our first time here. The burgers were large and not over cooked. Each came with two patties for a 1/2 lb. burger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions included. Served with fries and a drink. I got the onion rings for an additional $1.00. Our grandkids had the kids burgers that were 1/4 lb each with fries, a drink and a really nice toy to their delight. The popcorn shrimp was piled high for a kids meal--enough for an adult!
They serve wine and beer as well. Check out the outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The only drawback was having to pay $5 for parking! Seems a bit much for weekdays when the town is empty. -

Best burger and fries we've had in a while. The staff was very friendly. The place is sort of hidden but it was definitely worth the find. It's a nice cozy causal place. We would definitely come back! It was fresh and delicious.

Great food. We had calzones, Mac and cheese, onion rings and shrimp fettuccine. All good the cheese sauce was great for the max and the calzones were there crispiest I have had in years. It was Octoberfest so was stupid busy but would eat again
